Relish Radio provides an easy-to-use control panel with large tactile buttons for clarity and a volume dial that never reaches zero, to ensure the user always knows when the radio is on.

The personalisation panel on top of the radio allows for unique station pre-sets to be programmed. Whether your preference is the 'Swinging 60s', 'Relaxing Afternoons' or 'Talk-Back Radio' this feature helps you truly make it your own.

Music and Dementia.
Music is a powerful tool for improving the wellbeing of people with dementia. It allows them to connect with their past and people in their present with its ability to light up memories.
As well as reducing agitation and distress, recent findings suggest that musical training delays cognitive decline and promotes brain plasticity in the elderly brain.
When tuned into their favourite station and enjoy the sound of someone humming, whistling or singing along. You may even see an impromptu twirl or foot-tapping, symptomatic of an impulsive expression of contentment, relaxation, and happiness.

Step 1: Power It Up
Select the correct plug for your region and connect the power adapter to the socket on the back of the radio. Plug into a mains power outlet. Alternatively, insert 4 x D batteries. Rotate the aerial to a vertical position and extend it to full length. Place the radio on a stable surface where it is easy to reach.

Step 2: Turn It On
Press the On button and make sure the volume is turned up. Remove the battery door on the back of the radio to access the setup controls.

Step 3: Find Your Radio Stations
Press DAB/FM to switch between FM and DAB+ digital radio modes. In FM mode, hold the left or right arrow button for 3 seconds to scan for stations. In DAB+ mode, press and hold OK to automatically scan for all available stations, then use the arrow buttons to browse and press OK to select.

Step 4: Save Your Favourite Stations
Press and hold a memory button for 8 seconds to save your favourite station to it. Once saved, write the station name on the personalised label card and replace the plastic cover — so it is always easy to remember which button is which.

Step 5: Play Your Own Music
You can also play your own MP3 music files through the radio using a USB memory stick. Simply save your MP3 files to the memory stick and insert it into the radio.
