Remote controls can quickly get confusing, especially for viewers with partial eyesight or dexterity challenges.

EasyMote gets users back in charge of their own viewing experience. It is super easy to set up and to use.

The stylish yet functional design features large tactile, high visibility backlit buttons for easy use. The set up can be locked to prevent accidental reprogramming. Requires two AAA batteries.

Once set up....
- The On/Off button can operate either just the TV with One Touch.
- The Channel buttons can be set to change the TV channels or the Fetch TV/Foxtel IQ channels.
- The Volume & Mute buttons can be set to change the TV volume, the Set Top Box volume or a Sound Bar volume.

It will work with all Australian TVs and Set Top Boxes including Foxtel IQ, Fetch TV.

Before You Start Insert two fresh AAA batteries into the remote. Batteries are not included. The remote comes pre-programmed to work with most LG TVs. For all other TV brands, follow the setup steps below.

Step 1: Choose Your Setup Method There are two ways to program your remote to work with your TV. Method 1 is the quickest and works with most TVs. Method 2 is for TVs that Method 1 does not work with, or if you have a Set Top Box such as Foxtel, Fetch or Sky.

Method 1: Quick Search
1. Make sure your TV is turned on.
2. Press and hold the Mute and CH+ buttons together for five seconds until the indicator light next to the Power button turns on. Release both buttons.
3. Press the CH+ button repeatedly. Each press cycles to the next TV code and the LED light will flash.
4. When your TV channel changes, you have found the correct code. Press the Mute button to save it.
5. Test all the buttons to make sure they work. If any do not, repeat steps 2 to 4 until you find a code that works for everything.
Note: There are hundreds of codes so this may take a few presses, especially for less common TV brands.

Method 2: Learning Mode Use this method if Method 1 did not work, or if you need the remote to control a Set Top Box. You will need your original TV remote handy with working batteries.
1. Find your original TV remote and make sure it is working.
2. Press and hold the Mute and VOL+ buttons on your new remote until the indicator light turns on.
3. Point the front of your new remote at the front of your original remote, keeping them within 5cm of each other. Do this in a dimly lit room — bright or fluorescent lights can interfere.
4. Press the button on your original remote for the function you want to copy. The indicator light on your new remote will begin to flash.
5. Press and hold the corresponding button on your new remote for two seconds until the light stops flashing and stays on. The command is now saved.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for any other buttons you want to copy.
7. When finished, press the Mute and VOL- buttons together. The indicator light will turn off and all settings will be saved.
Note: If no button is pressed within 25 seconds, the remote will exit learning mode without saving.

Resetting the Remote If you need to start over, press and hold the Power and Mute buttons until the LED light turns on, then press Mute once. The LED will flash four times and the remote will reset to its default settings.

Adjusting the Backlight Press and hold the Mute and CH- buttons until the LED flashes three times. This will turn the backlight off. Repeat the same steps to turn it back on.
